Breakfast is very good on weekends. Great bloody Mary's too. In general the food is very good and it's obvious they're trying to bring quality bar food to the neighborhood. Great wings. All around nice sports bar, lots of TVs, and with arcade entertainment for the kids!!

We stopped in here for a late Saturday morning breakfast and had a great time. They threw down some cheese balls for us despite it not being lunch yet, which was greatly appreciated. I also really liked the egg burger.

This place is still a great place and a spot where my wife and I will get a couple of drinks and have dinner. I was friends with the previous owner and it was a consistent hangout for my friends and I. I still visit The U and I think the current owners have done a wonderful job with this place...

Quaint little local bar / grill. Good food, and great service tonight. Came in with my husband and twin toddlers, and the staff were patient and accommodating when we thought we had ordered the pub fries instead of original. They quickly brought us an order of the other fries, and were very kind about it. We will be back!

Really only went here because Victors had the best nachos in Des Moines area by far and I've found that they didn't change those with ownership. Hole in the wall, small town feel type bar and I love it. My go to especially on weekends when other places are packed.
